City Administrator and Treasurer April Baxter said the resident at 210 Keith Drive reported the leak on Dec. 30, 2025 and that staff observed a large presence of water near the skirting on the east side of the mobile home.
The board, Turley and Baxter agreed to notify Brightwell Estates that it has seven business days to complete necessary repairs. Baxter said the city will bill the property for any water loss associated with the leak if repairs are not made within that timeline.
The board did not record a formal motion or vote on a specific billing amount during the meeting; trustees framed the action as a staff direction and enforcement of existing billing practices for private‑property leaks.
The board’s next regular session is scheduled for Feb. 10, 2026, where staff may report back on compliance or further action.
