Michiana selects Orbis for required historic‑resources study as water grants proceed; new pump installed

The council’s selection of the lower‑cost consultant is intended to allow the project plan to proceed while the second grant is resubmitted. No additional funding approvals for the broader water project were recorded at this meeting.
The matter will proceed through the project plan and required federal/state clearances; the Orbis contract and project plan implementation are next steps in the grant process.
