Beacon Falls parks commission approves funding for Veterans Park sign

During the meeting the commission also reviewed routine maintenance items. Nicole Pastor, the commission clerk, said she will follow up with Public Works staff (Bry) to obtain the public works report. The minutes note a downed tree at Toby’s Pond near Route 8 that obstructs circulation on the back side of the pond and an exterior light at Riverbend Park that remains out. At Pent Road the bulletin board had been moved to make room for a water bottle filler; the filler arrived missing a few parts that have since been shipped and will be installed once they arrive and Public Works and a plumber complete the work.
