Mayor Don Dent reviewed purchase orders on the consent agenda; Councilmember Edes moved to approve the consent items and Councilmember Payne seconded. That motion also passed unanimously.
During public participation, a member of the public asked why fireworks would be held at the same time as a rodeo, asserting horses can get loose. The minutes state that the city does not have fireworks and a rodeo at the same time; no formal action or policy change was recorded in response to the comment.
In reports, Mayor Dent said the town is very busy and thanked Public Works Director Aaron Anderson for quick work addressing a road spill.
