Rick Richardson provided updates on roadside brush cutting, hazardous tree removal and driveway permit follow‑ups, and said a "Welcome to Limerick" sign was ready for pickup pending vendor confirmation.
Parks and recreation director Ivory Walsh relayed community interest in striping a pickleball court and suggested a volunteer‑built pavilion; board members asked her to check insurance and liability implications before volunteers begin construction. One citizen offered a $200 donation toward paint to stripe the court; Walsh and the volunteer pledged to coordinate materials and insurance checks.
Several citizens raised infrastructure and public‑safety concerns. A resident identified as Lehman criticized the fire department’s responsiveness and questioned staffing and leadership; other residents and board members offered both support for the chief’s responsiveness in some incidents and calls for closer oversight and clarity on staffing and certification. The Deep Veil water and sewer project was reported as nearing completion with final grading and a paving window in the coming days.
The board recessed for a break after closing the grievance portion and continued through the remaining agenda items.
