The committee also recommended Dr. Kelly Delaney, described by members as an educator and the education director at ALAS Half Moon Bay with experience in restorative practices and outreach to farmworker families. Commissioners welcomed Dr. Delaney, noting coastal representation and prior presentations at the commission's prevention conference.
Both recommendations were approved by voice vote during the meeting; commissioners offered congratulatory remarks.
