Several commissioners said six months would be an adequate notice period. Staff said a contractor agreement is expected in August and that onsite work is scheduled for September–October, and that the MOU would next be revised and presented for a formal resolution at the next meeting.
The commission did not take a final vote on the MOU at this meeting; staff will circulate a revised draft for comment and present a resolution for adoption at the following meeting.
