The Sudbury Conservation Commission voted on June 23 to permit and sponsor a Lincoln‑Sudbury Adult Education walk that will include access to Davis Farm and Broadacres and a planned pollinator meadow brochure for Davis Farm.
Neela de Zoysa, who leads several Lincoln‑Sudbury adult education walks, asked for the Commission’s sponsorship. Coordinator Capone confirmed there is no liability for the Commission and that sponsorship would be limited to permitting and acknowledgement in promotional materials, with no financial contribution required. Amy Rose, incoming director of Lincoln‑Sudbury Adult and Community Education, spoke in favor of the walk’s community benefits. The Commission approved the sponsorship unanimously; members suggested scheduling the walk outside the Commission’s May events and coordinating with Bruce Freeman Rail Trail stakeholders.
The walk is scheduled for November and will be permitted by the Commission; staff will coordinate logistics and promotional acknowledgement.
