Conservation Commission issues Certificate of Compliance for Goodman’s Hill solar‑related tree clearing

The Sudbury Conservation Commission voted Feb. 24 to issue a Certificate of Compliance for work at 141 Goodman’s Hill Road (Goldthwaite), where a homeowner removed trees to install roof solar.
Conservation Coordinator Lori Capone presented aerial photos showing the property before and after tree removal, noting the prior removal of large south‑facing pines and subsequent plantings of saplings and blueberry shrubs. Capone said the homeowners had removed over 900 invasive species and that, based on site inspection and photos, the work appeared consistent with the Order of Conditions.
On motion by Commissioner Jeremy Cook, the Commission voted unanimously to issue the Certificate of Compliance.
