River Ridge board adopts 2024/25 budget and approves special assessments

The River Ridge Community Development District Board of Supervisors adopted the fiscal year 2024/2025 budget and approved related special assessments during a public hearing on Aug. 27, 2024.

District management told the board that the budget published in the meeting packet contained scrivener errors; the board approved corrections before taking a final vote. Mrs. Adams opened the budget public hearing and no affected property owners spoke.

On a motion by Supervisor Kurt Blumenthal, seconded by Supervisor Robert Twombly, the board adopted Resolution 2024-07 relating to annual appropriations and adopting the fiscal year 2024/2025 budget as amended. The resolution authorizes budget amendments and provides an effective date. Following that action, the board opened and adopted Resolution 2024-08, making a determination of benefit and imposing special assessments for fiscal year 2024/2025, amending the text to delete references to "Exhibit B."
