Board appoints John Poad to fill Area 4 vacancy after candidate submissions

The board discussed orientation and mentor support for the newly appointed member and said training opportunities will be coordinated through the district office. "You'll also get a mentor on the board that if you want to call them..." the staff member said about onboarding for new members.
The board did not provide a roll-call tally for the appointment beyond the voice vote at the time of the meeting.
