Key items: a reclassification of debt expenditure savings related to a BAN payoff to fund a new Payroll Clerk I position in the Finance Department (increase to Salaries & Wages of $35,105 and corresponding decrease to interest payments); a supplemental appropriation of $71,364 to the General Fund for the 28th Judicial Circuit Court Clerk Technology Trust Fund ($33,550 revenue and related joint operating expense); insurance recovery and donations appropriated for police equipment ($2,814 insurance recovery; $10,000 donations), fire department donations ($10,000), sheriff donations ($10,000 and specific Project Lifesaver and Shop with a Hero allocations of $1,500 and $1,000 respectively), and a Parks & Recreation scholarship allocation of $2,500 for NFL Flag jersey purchases.
The consent agenda also included approval of three sets of prior meeting minutes (Dec. 5, Dec. 9 and Jan. 5). The consent agenda passed 5-0 (moved by Becky Nave; seconded by Neal Osborne).
