The River Ridge Community Development District Board reviewed budget and capital improvement items at its July 23 meeting and confirmed an Aug. 27, 2024, public hearing to adopt the FY2025 budget.
District Manager Cleo Adams and Assistant Secretary Kurt Blumenthal discussed the updated five-year Capital Improvement Plan. The board addressed design and permitting for guardhouses, proposals for construction plans, the feasibility of transferring funds into cash sweep accounts, the well, and installation of a traffic hawk. Staff noted the budget remains solvent and will present the public hearing on August 27 at 1:00 p.m.
Mrs. Adams presented the unaudited financial statements as of June 30, 2024 and answered questions about items on the check register. The board also reviewed and approved prior meeting minutes with corrections to the spelling of Samantha De Gyras and a role title; on motion by Mr. Blumenthal seconded by Mr. Gilman, with all in favor, the May 28, 2024 Regular Meeting Minutes, as amended, were approved.
Supervisors confirmed their planned attendance for the Aug. 27 meeting and Mr. Adams said staff will give periodic updates on major projects to improve pre-meeting communications.
