Council restores $20,000 to Believe in Bristol to support downtown revitalization

After the presentation, Councilmember Jake Holmes moved and Neal Osborne seconded a motion to reallocate $20,000 to Believe in Bristol, bringing the city's total annual support to $70,000; the motion passed 5-0.
Councilmembers thanked Believe in Bristol for its work downtown and noted future opportunities for grant-funded façade improvements and pedestrian-area planning. The appropriation is an operating allocation and not tied to a specific capital project in the meeting record.
