Director of Community Development and Planning Jay Detrick presented the second reading and read the ordinance caption for ORDINANCE 26‑1. The changes follow a first reading held Jan. 12 and include updates discussed at that meeting, with particular attention to off‑street parking provisions. There were no public comments during the second reading and council had no questions before moving to adoption. Becky Nave moved to approve the second reading and then moved to adopt the Chapter 50 code updates; both motions carried 4–0.
The ordinance was adopted by vote; staff did not present ordinance text changes in detail at this meeting beyond the caption and prior discussion references.
