After an executive session to discuss personnel and an acquisition/condemnation-related litigation matter, the Byron Board of Aldermen announced it had taken two actions.
City Attorney Scanlon reported that the board voted to extend an offer of employment to a prospective fire-department candidate and to make a specified payment to the court registry in connection with ongoing eminent-domain litigation. The board said that the names, salary figures and registry payment amount would be reflected in the minutes next month.
