Selectmen approve Durgin Bridge insurance extension, humane‑society contract and police taser purchase

Selectman Adam Heard moved and Selectman Joanne Haight seconded approval of an extension of the Durgin Bridge 2026 insurance policy and Ms. Haight’s signing of a waiver for terrorism coverage; the motion passed unanimously as recorded in the minutes. The board then approved a contract with Lakes Region Humane Society for animal sheltering services after a motion by Heard and a second by Haight; that motion also passed unanimously. Finally, the board approved signing a contract for the 2026 purchase of police tasers; Courtney Delaney noted the contract is subject to appropriation and allows for either a lump‑sum purchase or leasing. That motion, moved by Heard and seconded by Haight, likewise passed unanimously.
