Temporary event permit: The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation requested a permit for a Great Strides walk (05/16/2026 at Fossfield) and described a small local walk coordinated with police for safety; the board approved the permit and noted overlap with the Smith River Canoe Race that will increase downtown traffic that morning.
Commercial vessel landing and boat agent arrangements: The board approved commercial landing permits for Wake Winnie/Wake Winnie Watersports (six vessels) with the condition that hull identification numbers be submitted and that operation be limited to Dock 1. Bulk financial and administrative approvals: The board approved manifests, property tax credits and abatements and several routine items in a bulk vote, including weekly manifests and property tax refunds/abatements.
