City Administrator Lisa Kotter told the Red Oak City Council on May 19 that City Wide Clean Up Days are scheduled for June 20–21 for Red Oak residents only, with logistics being coordinated with garbage haulers and the Montgomery County Fairgrounds as the planned location.
Residents Kevin Carlisle, Amy Carlisle and Lynette Bruce provided public comments on the cleanup plans during the public comment period. The council also approved Resolution 2025‑59 authorizing use of door‑hanger notices for grass and weed nuisance violations; that resolution passed unanimously.
Kotter said staff is discussing entrance control, traffic directions and approved disposal items with haulers; specific operational details and any associated charges were not specified at the May 19 meeting.
