Committee member (Speaker 2) reported on the water treatment plant work, saying, "Still moving forward with the automation and the SCADA, for the plant so that it won't have to to be run manually ... in the next 2 to 3 weeks to have it completed, and that should have us closed down." The committee member also said he had "talked to Trevor about, having a ribbon cutting and a celebration of that facility."
Members acknowledged receipt of the Municipal Building Authority cash summary for the MBA fund and then approved an open invoice register dated June 4, 2026, in the amount of $49,790.50; Speaker 2 stated the listed expenses were tied to the water treatment plant project. The board also acknowledged a disbursement summary for May 28–June 4, 2026, totaling $57,834.02 with a recorded void amount of $869.47; Speaker 2 asked staff to check next week whether the identical void amount appearing in consecutive summaries was a coincidence or an unintended duplication.
All four motions (approval of minutes, acknowledgment of the cash summary, approval of the open invoice register, and acknowledgment of the disbursement summary) passed by voice vote during the meeting. No roll-call votes or individual member tallies were recorded in the transcript; each vote was recorded as a two-member 'Aye' response in the meeting audio.
