A second item rezoned approximately 10 acres of a 73-acre tract owned by John Walton to create a separate 10-acre lot consistent with agricultural-policy standards; planning and staff recommended approval and the commission voted to approve.
A third item changed a parcel from neighborhood commercial to single-family (R7) for Justin and Christy Kearns, with staff noting the request matched surrounding suburban zoning; the planning commission unanimously recommended approval and the commission adopted the request 3-0.
All three items were presented as consistent with county land-use policies and had unanimous planning commission recommendations before the county commission approval.
