"Long story short, the signs have been stopped by the city of Hartsville," Johnson said.
Mayor Dan Eskins thanked Johnson and said the council typically does not respond during public comment but would speak with her after the meeting and asked staff to follow up. City Manager Moore and other staff did not provide a legal citation during the meeting; council asked staff to take the question under advisement and to provide the relevant ordinance or statutory citation outside the meeting.
