Vice Chairman Doug Harris and other commissioners said the three candidates interviewed were Thomas Barnard, Paul Drawdy and Al Meadows. Harris announced that state-required or board-established waiting procedures will apply: "There is a 14-day waiting period after making this announcement, before the selected candidate will be announced," the board said. The commissioners scheduled a called meeting for Monday, Dec. 5, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. to discuss and vote on the appointment.
