The board adopted a motion by Commissioner Theodore Wilkerson, seconded by Commissioner Charlie Leggett, to hire GMASS. The vendor told officials it could begin late 2023 or early 2024 with a field staff of more than 20 employees; the $410,900 cost would be spread over three to four years and funded from general fund operations.
