Council adopts three ordinances and authorizes TAP agreement; fireworks and other routine items approved

- Bill No. 8692 (supplemental agreement for TAP project 510014): Council authorized the mayor to execute supplemental agreement No. 1 with S.H. Smith and Company for a pedestrian crosswalk on East Pine Street; the ordinance was adopted by unanimous vote.
Other procedural actions: council gave verbal approval for consumer-level fireworks at Bacon Park for the Juneteenth celebration (June 20, 2026) with the fire department on standby; council also moved the Legacy Fasteners industrial revenue bond ordinance and the municipal utilities waiver repeal regarding Empire Comfort Systems to the June 1 voting session for final action.
