Brian Barber confirmed the easements addressed outstanding staff concerns; the commission approved the plat by voice vote.
Site plan 26‑07, a final site‑plan request by Spring Mill Investments LLC for a new approximately 7,200‑square‑foot O'Reilly Auto Parts store at 202 Lincoln Way East, was presented by Brandon Anderson (Core States). No questions were raised and the commission moved to approve the site plan; the motion passed.
The commission tabled Replat 26‑02 (Autumn Ridge) at the applicant's request. A letter from Westview Capital LLC (signed by Chris Godzlewski of Haversh Consultants) requested tabling to the August 10 meeting to allow time to resolve outstanding issues; the commission agreed.
Chair also summarized a legal memo from David Bent clarifying that under Indiana law the commission’s role for plats and replats is administrative: if a plat complies with regulations and staff approves it, the commission generally cannot deny a compliant plat.
