The Beaverdam Town Board approved payment of $23,201.88 and later amended the action to include a $40,000 bill from Uttech Law Firm during a short meeting Dec. 28, 2023.
The board convened at 12:00 p.m. with members Joe Kern, Liz Kern, Jesse Hankes, Dave Raue and Dean Hughes listed as present. The meeting posting was verified as having been posted Dec. 27, 2023.
A motion by Liz Kern, seconded by Dave Raue, carried unanimously to pay bills totaling $23,201.88. After that action the board voted, on a motion by Raue and seconded by Dean Hughes, to adjourn at 12:04 p.m.; that adjournment was recorded as unanimous.
The meeting was reopened at 12:28 p.m. after a bill from Uttech Law Firm was submitted. At the reconvening, attendees were listed as Dave Raue, Joe Kern and Liz Kern (by phone). The board then voted on a motion by Liz Kern, seconded by Dave Raue, to amend the earlier payment motion to include a $40,000.00 bill for Paul Uttech of Uttech Law Firm; that amendment carried unanimously among those present.
After the amendment the board adopted a motion by Raue, seconded by Liz Kern, to adjourn at 12:29 p.m. The minutes are signed and submitted by Clerk Aimee Mallon.
