Danielle said the long-term goal is to transition the initiative to the Green Team, add community education (bat houses, dragonfly-friendly yards, firefly habitats), and reduce county-wide spraying by increasing use of natural controls.
Council praised the volunteer-driven effort and noted staff would provide limited support as the Green Team takes stewardship.
