The TEC Connections Academy Commonwealth Virtual School Board of Directors unanimously approved revised board bylaws during its May 6 meeting. The bylaws packet (page 24) shows edits by strikethrough and purple new language; board members said the revisions were technical and not substantive.
Dr. Jean Kenney thanked Superintendent Patrick Lattuca and staff for their work on the revisions. The Board voted after Chair Peter Sanchioni moved the motion; Jerry Helsing moved it and Grace Magley seconded. The board recorded the motion as passing unanimously.
Trustees noted DESE suggested removing the phrase "or virtually as regulated by the Commonwealth" from Section 8 and that the approval would include that amendment. No member requested further substantive changes at the meeting.
