The Williston Board of City Commissioners on May 26 approved Ordinance 1179 on second reading, amending Section 31 of Ordinance 613.
Staff Planner Lisa Weidner said the amendment changes the definition of single-family dwelling to include mono-pitch and multi-pitch roofs with a minimum 3:12 roof pitch and requires manufactured units placed at the time of placement to meet HUD Code U-value requirements (standard of 1994, as referenced in the agenda materials). Commissioner Bekkedahl moved and Commissioner Siemieniewski seconded approval of the ordinance on second reading; the motion passed 5-0.
The ordinance was presented as a definitional change and was approved without recorded public comment.
