At its July 13 meeting the Norton Conservation Commission handled routine business and several procedural votes.
Minutes: The commission considered corrections to the June 22 minutes and a motion to approve the minutes (moved by Anne). The motion carried.
Officer nominations: The commission nominated and elected Dan as clerk (motion carried), Mark as vice chair (motion carried) and Lisa to serve as chair beginning with the first meeting in August (motion carried).
Public hearings and certificates: The commission voted to close the public hearing for file 250‑117416 (Old Colony Road) following a peer review finding that the stormwater design meets MassDEP standards. The commission also closed the hearing on file 250‑1206 (Mansfield Avenue laydown yard) after the applicant responded to comments and received confirmation that stormwater design meets state and local standards. For 4378 Old Colony Road (septic repair/dance studio) staff reported the site was stabilized and the commission voted to issue a full Certificate of Compliance (file 250‑1193).
Adjournment: The commission moved to adjourn and members voted aye.
