Williston adopts ordinance updating construction‑zone speeding language to match state code
Summary

Taylor Olson, the City Attorney, told commissioners Ordinance 1165 contains no substantive changes from the previously published draft but updates local language to match the North Dakota Century Code for speeding in construction zones.
"This was an adaptation from the North Dakota Century Code for speeding in construction zones updating language to match what the North Dakota Century Code says," Olson said during the meeting.
Commissioner Victoria Siemieniewski moved to approve Ordinance 1165 on second reading; Commissioner James Bervig seconded. Commissioners Brad Bekkedahl, Siemieniewski, Bervig and Howard Klug voted aye and the ordinance passed 4‑0.
