The Borough of Old Tappan Mayor & Council adopted three ordinances on second and final reading during its Feb. 24 meeting.
Ordinance 12-71-25 replaces parts of the borough’s facilities usage policy; council members opened the ordinance for public comment and received none before voting to adopt. Ordinance 12-72-25 amends schedule B of the borough's Length of Service Award Program (LOSAP), described in the meeting as a wording and rank update rather than a substantive program change; council members clarified the change as a tidy, non-substantive edit and adopted the ordinance on final reading. Ordinance 12-73-25 updates recreation program fees; it was introduced, opened for public comment (none) and adopted on final reading.
For each ordinance the borough clerk was directed to publish the required notice of adoption. Council members carried the votes via roll call; the transcript records affirmative "Yes" responses when the clerk called members' names.
