Council confirms accounts payable clerk and approves recreation and arts appointees
Summary
The council approved the appointment of Francois Callos as accounts payable clerk and confirmed mayoral and council appointments to the Recreation Commission and Arts & Entertainment Committee (David Yoon and Eva Saric). The Borough of Old Tappan Mayor & Council approved several personnel appointments on Feb. 24.
A council member moved to appoint Francois Callos as accounts payable clerk; Callos was present and the council approved the appointment by roll call. The mayor also recommended David Yoon to the Recreation Commission to fill an unexpired five-year term ending Dec. 31, 2026, saying Yoon came "highly recommended" by council members. Councilwoman Massaro introduced Eva Saric for an unexpired three-year term on the Arts & Entertainment Committee, noting Saric's involvement with the youth council and publicity work; the council opened the nomination for public comment (none) and then approved the appointment by roll call.
Mayor (presiding) and council members welcomed the new and recommended appointees. The consent agenda later included confirmation of the accounts payable clerk appointment.
