Bonduel RDA plans offsite joint meeting to boost downtown outreach

Kristen Fish-Peterson reported she had not had recent contact with downtown business owners but will continue outreach. RDA member Jesse Rankin suggested hosting a joint RDA/Plan Commission meeting at an offsite location — he named Harlow’s Supper Club as a possible venue — to make it easier for business and property owners to attend and to focus discussion on the redevelopment plan. Rankin volunteered to work on details during the following week.
The board did not vote on the proposal; by consensus it tabled formal action and asked staff and Rankin to return with a proposed format and outreach plan at the next meeting.
Next steps: Staff will continue outreach; Rankin will draft a proposed offsite meeting plan and potential invite list for review at the next meeting.
