North Chevy Chase seeks traffic-safety coordination and considers Traffic Group speed and stop studies

Council members expressed interest but posed questions about how stops would be monitored and evaluated, whether to include a speed study at the northern end of Kensington Parkway while the contractor is in the area, and how to address issues on County-designated streets adjacent to the Village.
The Council requested a follow-up discussion with The Traffic Group’s Director of Engineering Services and asked that residents along Husted and Montgomery be included in that meeting; the Village Manager was directed to arrange the session. No firm contract award, dollar figures, or study start dates were specified in the transcript.
