The Board of Trustees of the Town of Loma Linda approved the State of Missouri tax rate and authorized routine monthly payments totaling $54,441.57 at its Aug. 13 meeting.
The tax-rate portion of the meeting opened as a separate hearing at 6:15 p.m.; Trustees James Childers, Tyler Ehrhart, Aaron Hamilton and Barbara Hutchison were present and Bruce Anderson was listed absent. Aaron Hamilton moved to approve the State of Missouri tax rate; Barbara Hutchison seconded and the motion was unanimously approved. Hamilton then moved to adjourn the tax-rate hearing; Tyler Ehrhart seconded and it adjourned at 6:20 p.m.
At the regular session, the board approved the July 9 regular and closed meeting minutes. Jan Woody read the financial reports; Tyler Ehrhart moved to approve the financial report as presented, Aaron Hamilton seconded and the motion was unanimously approved.
The board authorized payments of $7,555.94 from the General Account, $44,860.44 from the Utility Account and $2,025.19 from the Park Account—totaling $54,441.57. Aaron Hamilton moved to pay the bills and Barbara Hutchison seconded. The motion passed; Chair James Childers abstained from that vote.
