The Advisory Committee on Environmental Sustainability voted unanimously to approve the May meeting minutes and tabled its planned Comprehensive Plan update until the July ACES meeting during its in-person session at the Broomfield Health & Human Services Building on June 8.
Jon Boomershine moved to approve the May ACES meeting minutes; Lois Vanderkooi seconded the motion and the committee approved it unanimously. The minutes list 11 members present and five absent.
The agenda listed a Comprehensive Plan Update attributed to Elizabeth Mays; the minutes record that the item was tabled until the July ACES meeting but do not record who moved the tabling or additional discussion.
Several staff-led items appeared on the agenda but were not described in the minutes. Alex Moore-VanDyke was listed to present a 2026 legislative session update and staff updates including the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG), Environmental Producer Responsibility (EPR), and the Colorado Circular Communities Enterprise (C3). Kirstie Tedrick was listed for an Electric Vehicle fee-structure update and a 30-minute Municipal Buildings and Facilities Efficiency Pilot presentation; the minutes record these items on the agenda without substantive detail.
The agenda also listed the 'Library Unplugging Campaign 2026' and an opportunity to add items to next month’s agenda. H.G. Parsa called the meeting to order at 6:01 p.m. and adjourned it at 7:51 p.m.
