New Auburn board accepts Elmhorst resignation, approves multiple coaching hires and contracts

The board also voted on a package of coaching and advising contracts for the coming school year; the motion to approve Louise Cody’s high-school volleyball contract carried with Cody abstaining from the vote on her own contract (recorded tally: 4 affirmative, 1 abstention). A subsequent motion to approve the remaining coaching and co-curricular contracts carried with two board members recorded as abstaining (reported tally: 3 affirmative, 2 abstentions).
The board also approved the district’s support staff handbook for 2024–25 (5-0) and a set of vendor and service contracts related to student services and regional support, including the CESA 10 general contract (5-0), a CESA 10 special finance contract for August–September 2024 (recorded 4 affirmative, 1 abstention), and a speech/language services contract with Huddle Up (5-0).
