Milltown board approves routine motions, sets gravel price and signs off on licenses and contracts

Jon Eckel moved — and Mike Dau seconded — to accept the May 12, 2025 meeting minutes and the June 5, 2025 financial report and to pay the bills; both motions passed. The board also set a $7.00-per-ton sale price for Luck gravel to be charged to the Village of Luck after a motion by Jon Eckel, seconded by Mike Dau.
A corrected Carlson Construction change order (004, May 9, 2025) in the amount of $3,020.41 was accepted following a motion by Jon Eckel and second by Mike Dau. The board approved liquor licenses for Five Flags Golf Course and the VFW after background checks; Pub 35 had not submitted renewal documents and will not receive renewal until the July meeting.
Mike Dau moved to add Jon Eckel as a bank signatory and remove the late Chris Nelson from the signature list; the motion passed. During a closed session under Wis. Stat. 19.85(1)(e) concerning the town shop addition, the board reconvened and approved accepting a $549 credit from Amador Locksmith for rekeying, agreed to pay half ($65.94) of a lost-key bill, and directed the clerk to coordinate training for the clerk, maintenance and treasurer.
