The Town of Milltown board on July 14 approved a project management agreement and multiple contractor bids for work at the Antler Lake boat landing, and set a site meeting for Aug. 4 to discuss construction plans.
Doug Bergstrom told the board that four contracts needed signatures for the Antler Lake project. The board voted to approve a project management agreement with a term not to exceed $5,000. Jon Eckel moved the motion; Mike Dau seconded and it passed.
The board accepted a $7,375.60 bid from International Erosion Control for concrete mattresses at the boat landing, a $13,255.00 bid from Monarch Paving for final grading and asphalt, and a $16,884.00 bid from Paragon Excavating for work at Antler Lake. All motions were moved by Jon Eckel, seconded by Mike Dau and approved by the board.
The clerk and Doug Bergstrom said a project meeting date would be set to coordinate contract execution and provide a cost breakdown when the town acts on the contracts. The board scheduled a site meeting for Aug. 4 at 6:00 p.m. at the Antler Lake boat landing to review construction plans.
The board’s approval authorizes staff to sign the listed contracts and proceed with the procurement steps described in the project documents. The minutes do not specify individual vote tallies for the motions.
