At its March 30, 2026 meeting, the School District of New Holstein Board of Education approved a consent agenda that included financial reports, personnel changes, facility vendor quotes and technology purchases, and later approved curriculum agreements with STAGR and CESA 6.
The board approved February 2026 financial figures as part of the consent items: total revenues $3,293,792.79, expenditures $1,462,900.92, and a year-to-date balance for all funds of $9,166,196.38. The consent agenda also recorded resignations (including High School Debate Advisor Sienna Compton and Middle School Wrestling Coach Erick Luna), the hire of school bus driver Steven Wilson, and a listed retirement for the Curriculum Administrative Assistant Laurie Kutz.
Facility and equipment items listed in the consent agenda included a fitness center quote from LIV for two treadmills, an elementary parking lot expansion proposal from WW Asphalt Paving and Sealing, and a third-grade floor renovation quote from Fortress Floors. The board also approved a technology purchase from Apple Store for Education for 67 iPads and 35 adapters, recorded as part of the student-learning and technology consent items.
After a presentation on math and literacy supports, trustees approved curriculum agreements with STAGR and CESA 6 by motion of Don Turba, seconded by Heidi Brill; the minutes record that motion as carried 5-0. Separately, board committee members presented cost and donation information for a proposed robotic athletic field sprayer and Jodie Goebel moved, seconded by Heidi Brill, to purchase the sprayer from Turf Tank; the minutes record the motion but do not include an explicit vote tally for that specific item in the published minutes.
Motions approving the consent agenda and curriculum agreements are recorded in the minutes as carried 5-0. The district’s next regular meeting is scheduled for April 20, 2026.
