Vendor contract and appointments The Board approved a two‑year snow‑removal and leaf‑collection contract submitted by Dawn Smith of Full Blown Smith LLC on July 29, 2024, provided the contract include an election‑day clause to clear Village Hall by 6 a.m.; the motion was made by Constable Kristin Wright, seconded by Trustee Rick Cermak and carried at 7:08 PM. The Board also appointed Chris Veranth to the Board of Appeals and Kari McGauhey to the Planning Commission; both appointments were moved by Constable Wright, seconded by Trustee Schroeder and carried at 7:32 PM.
Other motions The Board authorized Attorney Eric Larson to draft a notice to residents on private drives regarding obstructions that limit emergency vehicles and the Village waste disposal contractor (motion by Trustee Schroeder, seconded by Constable Wright; carried at 7:28 PM). A motion to adjourn, made by Constable Wright and seconded by Trustee Cermak, carried and the meeting adjourned at 8:20 PM.
