Utilities Director Smith reported the finding and recommended using a $750 robotic camera to locate the leak; staff also discussed lowering tank levels and pressure testing as investigative options. The Public Works Committee supported scheduling the camera inspection the following week.
Council did not authorize an emergency contract at the meeting but the Committee recommended moving forward with the inspection and evaluating repair options based on the camera results and further testing.
