Kensington to pursue Green Bank advisory support for Resilience Action Plan addressing stormwater

On March 12 the Kensington Council agreed to work with the Green Bank and consulting partner PreCollective to develop a Resilience Action Plan aimed at improving stormwater management and reducing flood risk. Council Member Engle said Sustainable Kensington drafted a scope of work after reviewing town resilience needs and that the Green Bank approached the town about the program.
Laura Mondragon (Green Bank) and Tracy Kaufman (PreCollective) described their advisory role, which was represented as no cost to the Town. The work will focus on stormwater and flood-risk strategies and is intended to assist the town in prioritizing capital projects and potential financing options. The Council concurred to proceed with the engagement.
