Pearisburg council approves $22,650 budget amendment and sets FY2027 budget calendar

Vice Mayor Kristi Eaton, reporting for the Finance Committee, outlined the FY2027 budget process and said the Finance Committee will serve as the body to review and draft the Town's budget, subject to edits to the proposed calendar. Town Manager Adam Poser described planned Finance Committee meetings and departmental budget tools.
What happens next: Council adopted the budget calendar (subject to recommended edits) and departments will proceed with FY2027 budget preparations under Finance Committee oversight.
