The board raised several questions about the draft; Schauer said she would consult the DNR specialist about those questions and revise the ordinance accordingly.
Brad Sabel moved and Dean Boelk seconded a motion to accept the Compliance Assurance Plan; the motion carried and Chair Edward Smith signed the CAP as attested by Clerk Schauer. The CAP acceptance constituted formal board action to document compliance with state recycling requirements.
No formal vote on the ordinance draft was taken; Schauer will pursue additional consultation with the Department of Natural Resources and return an updated draft for a future meeting.
