Wallington council approves two walk-on residential handicapped parking spaces

After returning from an executive session, the Borough of Wallington Mayor and Council approved two walk-on resolutions on June 18 creating designated residential handicapped parking spaces.
Resolution 2026-206 establishes a handicapped parking space at or near 81 Anderson Avenue for use in connection with a 2019 Lexus RX bearing New Jersey plate B47LCA. The Health Department received the application and a $60 application fee; the Police Department investigated and certified that adequate space exists.
Resolution 2026-207 creates a designated residential handicapped parking space at or near 20 Tuttle Street for use in connection with a 2020 Honda CR-V bearing New Jersey plate R16MMD. The council adopted both walk-on resolutions by roll call (Aye: Rachelski, Marciniak, Hejzner, Graham; Absent: Preinfalk, Kosuda).
Both resolutions state installation is subject to action by the appropriate borough department and compliance with applicable law.
