Fiscal Officer Stephanie A. Evans presented the village’s March 2025 financial reports, including bank reconciliations and income tax receipts. Council member Dow T. Voelker moved to approve the financial reports; Ms. Kendy A. Troiano seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Evans reported the tariff on the village EV chargers is back in place at a lower rate; however, increased usage over the past two years has raised total costs. She also said the village’s aggregation program has realized $100,544 in savings to date with 291 accounts enrolled (248 residential and 43 small-business accounts). Evans noted the village has locked in a new aggregation rate but a new standard service offer has not yet been determined for a direct comparison.
Village Engineer Caleb Zmith updated Council that the Cambridge Boulevard improvement project remains consistent with the previously approved concept, and the design process is approaching 60% completion, which will allow the team to produce a closer cost estimate. He said the team is aiming for a late May/early June cost estimate. Zmith also reported the village water model is complete, the new hydrants ordered will help test pipe capacity, the internal GIS program is available, and Roxbury Road and Fernwood Avenue catch basins are scheduled for repair next week.
No budget totals for the Cambridge Boulevard project were provided in the meeting record. Staff follow-up was noted for procurement, design cost estimates and planned repairs.
