Afton council approves consent agenda and reviews July financials and bills

Town Administrator Hyun Kim presented the town’s financial statements for the period ending July 31, 2016, and advised that the town’s fiscal‑year audit would be held in the near future; he said monies would be transferred into established reserve funds once the audit is completed.
The published bills and payroll in the meeting minutes include a payroll line of $98,737.67 and several notable expenses recorded in the ledger: Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance ($17,064.66), Wyoming Retirement Systems contributions ($13,011.46), and a Wyoming Office of State Lands loan payment ($23,402.95). The council approved the consent agenda by motion of Councilman Jason C. Inskeep, seconded by Councilman Rick Merritt.
No vote roll call with each councilmember’s vote was recorded in the minutes; motions were recorded as carried.
